Who am I ?
My name is Lorie Lafontaine
I am a native French speaker from Belgium, holding a Bachelor's in Communication and Public Relations and a Master's degree in Transmedia Communication, specializing in inclusive writing. I am also certified by Alliance Française in teaching French as a foreign language.
With six years of experience as a Communication Officer, I have written articles, press releases, and managed content for the company’s website, among other editorial tasks. My deep understanding of the French language, with all its richness and complexity, is a definite asset!

No matter if you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced student I provide personalized attention to cater to your needs and help you reach your goals. The lessons are adaptable, taking into account your interests and motivations for learning French whether for travel, academics, social interactions, migration, or business.
Beginners level
A1-A2
Beginners level would be sufficient for very simple interactions, for example as a tourist in a french-speaking country. It would not be sufficient for other academic or professional purposes, or limited to familiar topics.
Intermediate level
B1-B2
This level allows for basic interactions with French speakers on familiar topics In the workplace, you can read simple reports and write basic emails but may struggle with nuances outside your field and miss subties in conversation.
Advanced level
C1-C2
It enables complete functionality in work or academic environments, allowing full autonomy in a French-speaking country. It supports reading and writing on any topic, nuanced emotional expression, and active participation.
Prices
Adult lessons range from 1 to 1.5 hours, whereas children's lessons are 45 minutes long. Each session focuses on grammar, conversation, writing, and exam preparation, customized to meet your specific needs. Please see the pricing details below.
